Japanese companies changing internal language to English - Rakuten insights - Video

Rakuten has aimed at getting staff to speak English internally by 2012.It supports employees with discounted classes and in the cafeteria with English signs for food. Japan is now one of the lowest countries in Asia on TOEFL test scores. Globalization plans seem to be the main motivator.
