Japanese customers watch as prices for vegetables increases with the temperature, cabbage prices up 48%

"Prices for leafy vegetables traded at the Tokyo Metropolitan Central Wholesale Market surged almost 50% on the year at the end of July. Cabbage traded at 91 yen per kilogram, up 48.9% from a year earlier"
