Japanese customers get ready for the next generation of fuel saving technology - idle stop systems

“ Japanese automakers are introducing idling stop systems to reduce fuel consumption and to promote gasoline vehicles amid the growing popularity of hybrid models... Mazda Motor's Premacy minivan hit the market this month. The automaker's i-stop system improves fuel consumption by 7 percent and the vehicle can travel up to 16 kilometers on a liter of fuel.”
