"Teikoku Databank said a total of 10,778 companies have entered the Chinese market, including 3,547 firms, or 32.9%, that have 10 to 49 employees and 2,608, or 24.2%, with less than 10 employees. Firms capitalized at 10 million yen or more and those under 50 million yen made up 51.4% of the total. ..By industry, manufacturers made up the biggest proportion at 42.2% of the total, followed by wholesalers at 35%.
