The Japanese lead Ichthys LNG project worth $33 billion will pipe 8.4 million tonnes per year

"the Ichthys project is the first Japanese - controlled resources project in Australia.The $33 billion project - the second largest resources venture in Australia behind the Gorgon LNG project in Western Australia....is a joint venture between Japanese energy giant Inpex and Frances Total, with Inpex the controlling partner with more than 70% of the equity. The project will see 8.4 million tonnes of LNG per annum piped"
