Japanese high tech ingenuity creates machine to turn plastic back into oil which could make a big impact on CO2 emissions

"..Akinori Ito has put Japanese high-tech ingenuity to work. The result is a portable machine that can, using just electricity and heat, turn plastic back into oil...Ito's machine converts about 1kg of plastic back into 1 liter of oil. In comparison, burning 1kg of plastic will result in 3kg of CO2 emission"
