Japanese customers soon to get hand scanner ATM's allowing cardless banking

"Japanese consumers ...Gifu prefecture.... will soon be able to take out cash from their nearest automated-teller machine (ATM) simply at the touch of a hand..the technology also allows users to make deposits and check their account balances through palm scans, Kyodo reported...users are required to input their date of birth before putting their hand on the scanner, which then moves on to request the PIN issued when they signed up."
