Japanese customers consumed 13.8 billion dollars of US goods in 2012


"Japan imposes double-digit duties on many important U.S. agricultural products, including 38.5% on beef, 16% to 32% on oranges, 40% on processed cheese, 20% on potato flakes, and 10.5% on frozen sweet corn.The United States exported about $13.8 billion of corn, wheat, soybeans, pork, and other farm goods to Japan in the 2012 budget year, down just slightly from $13.9 billion 2011."
