Japanese insurance company forcing men with newborn children to take paid leave



"Nippon Life Insurance Co. announced this week it is ordering men with newborn children to take paid leave. Workaholics need not fret–the company is only suggesting new dads take a week, not anywhere near the maximum two-and-a-half years under the combined government and company child-care leave policies.....eligible dads (who take) leave (in Japan)... 2.63% nationally at the end of March 2012, according to the latest government survey."
