Japanese convenience stores reach out to elderly

¨Last year, 300 convenience stores cared for older people who didn't know where they were. Recently, 4 chains formalized their commitment to be safe havens....

The arrangement makes use of what is called the SOS Network. It links cities and towns in the search for wanderers ¨
