100 yen campaigns in Kansai increase foot traffic from Japanese customers, some wonder if it can them happy?

"Merchants in the Kansai region have taken a hint from successful 100 yen shops and offered featured products for 100 yen on certain days...foot traffic rose 2.4 times on average with the 100 yen campaigns, with 90 percent of shops saying they had new customers...others remain cautious, saying attracting and keeping fickle customers is no easy task"
