Unit labour costs in Japan decreased by 1.7 percent in Japan in 2012 and by 16 percent over the past decade according to OECD study

"Unit labour costs rose 2.6 per cent a year in Britain and Canada, 1.9 per cent in the US, France and Korea, but just 0.5 per cent in Germany and minus 1.7 per cent in Japan. Growth across the whole OECD averaged 1.6 per cent.
