"The Fukushima District Court has awarded an 18-year-old boy damages after he was bullied at his school in Date City.....The judge ordered the three bullies and their parents to pay a total of 2.05 million yen in damages to the victim.... The court heard that the boy was repeatedly bullied at school between July and December 2008. He became so stressed out that he was unable to go to school for 14 months."
