"A retired employee of Japan Airlines has made a small Buddha statue for each of the 520 victims of a plane crash that occurred nearly three decades ago, to console the spirits of the deceased.Monday marks the 28th anniversary of the accident.On Aug. 12, 1985, JAL Flight 123 crashed into Mt. Osutaka in Gunma Prefecture, killing most of the 509 passengers and 15 crew members aboard."
