Total spend on movies in Japan by Japanese customers $1.2 billion up 4% on last year

"The Motion Picture Producers Association of Japan says earnings for all movies in Japan from January to June amounted to some 102 billion yen, or 1.2 billion dollars. That's up 4.5 million dollars, or 4 percent, from the same period last year."
