Japanese women represent less than 2% of executives in Japanese companies according to research

“ According to a survey last year by business publisher Toyo Keizai, just 1.2% of executives at listed Japanese companies were women. And that actually represents progress: when the survey began in 1995, the executive ranks were 0.15% female.”
