#1 Agedashi Tofu 揚げ出し豆腐

Agedashi Tofu is a popular side dish in Japanese cuisine

Tofu is cut into cubes that are bite sized and then sprinkled with potato starch. The tofu is deep fried in oil.It is then served with a hot soup made by combining mirin, dashi and soy sauce with chives, grated ginger and radish. The tofu and the soup is eaten with chopsticks and the plate is left clean.
