Russian trade with Japan doubled to $US 23 billion as energy imports increase

"(Russian) Trade with....(Japan) doubled...to $US 23 billion...exports...are likely to accelerate further because of Japan's need for oil and gas to replace lost nuclear power...oil imports from Russia rose from 0.7 percent of Japan's total in 2006 to 6.4 percent in 2010"
