Japanese green tea #japanesecustomer
Green Tea is a part of daily Japanese life. It is a popular drink that is consumed hot in winter or cold in summer. Green Tea has some amazing qualities!
History
The Chinese Emperor Shen Nong first discovered green tea about 4700 years ago, who as legend says discovered it by accident?
He was boiling a pot of water when some leaves from the tea bush strayed into his pot”.

Why Japanese Green Tea is different?
There are three kinds of tea made from the tea plant: green tea, oolong, and black tea...Green which is more lightly processed than the other varieties is favoured in Japan”.

Japanese Green Tea
Green tea comes from two major sources, China and Japan. In each country the tea is processed differently, therefore changing the nature of the tea and its benefits to the drinker.
In Japan, immediately after picking the leaves, they are steamed. This stops the activity of the fermenting enzyme and the leaves stay green. When you brew Japanese tea the color is somewhere between lemon and yellow-green”.

What are the nutritional components of Japanese Green Tea?
Green tea when analyzed chemically contains the following:
Polyphenols, Catechins, Falvanols, Caffeine, Complex sugars (Glycosides), Vitamin C, Vitamin E, Carotene, Saponia, Flouride, Zinc, Selenium, and Magnesia”,

Japanese customers love kaki!

kaki #japanesecustomer

In November it is common to buy and eat 柿 Kaki (persimmon) as a snack after lunch or after the evening meal.

Many Japanese homes have a kaki tree in their backyard and at this time of year, they are bursting with ripe fruit

A mature typical tree can hold grow over 50 in a season. The fruit is washed and the outer skin scrubbed and removed by a knife.

The remaining fruit is then cut into portions to represent how many people will be eating.

A toothpick or small fork is given to eat the portion.

A cup of hot green tea is often enjoyed while eating a juicy persimmon. In season a good quality Kaki can fetch as much as 450 yen at the local fruit shop.

An even better treat is to peel the skin, soak in sake, and then to hang them to dry in the sun, these are called hoshigaki and are exquisite to the tastebuds.

Kaki is a much-enjoyed fruit in November and all the year as dried kaki.

Japanese Customers like brands and easily get attached to them. Whether it is a hand bag made in Australia, a brand of biscuits, a pair of shoes or a video game. Japanese Customers have strong brand attachment, that takes years to create, manage and maintain.

Takashi Sensui, general manager of Microsoft's Xbox division in Japan.: "Japanese consumers have always had [feelings of] attachment to established brands. They feel very comfortable, very safe to go with proven brands" in the online article: TGS 06: Q&A with Takashi Sensui. by Walt Wyman, GameSpot, Posted Sep 23, 2006 3:52 pm PT

What does this mean for marketers? It means that the image you create must be strong, trustworthy and reliable. A brand that will be here tomorrow, can be serviced, upgraded and continue to please customers.
